This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

When you voluntarily sign up to receive emails or text messages from Mercantile & Co., we may collect information such as:

We collect this information only when you voluntarily provide it to us, such as by completing a newsletter, text message sign-up form, or contact form.

We use this information to send you Mercantile & Co. news, store updates, event announcements, promotions, and other marketing communications that you have elected to receive.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use information collected through our marketing sign-up forms for purposes unrelated to Mercantile & Co. communications and marketing.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails.

You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to a text message from us.

Email and text subscriptions are separate, optional choices. Consent is not a condition of purchase, submitting a vendor application, or renting a space. When text messaging is available, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or contact tal.info@mercantileandco.com. Submission-related text consent does not automatically include promotional messages. See our text-message terms.

Items Offered to Vendors

If you submit items through “Sell to our vendors,” we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup area, item title, asking price, negotiability, additional information, and uploaded photos or videos. With your permission, these details appear in a listing for authorized Mercantile & Co. vendors, who may contact you directly about purchasing the items. The listing is not intended for public browsing. Do not include a precise home address or private documents in your submission. This submission does not enroll you in marketing. Mercantile & Co. does not purchase, consign, broker, or process these sales.

Employment Applications

If you apply to work with us, we collect the contact details, role preferences, availability, experience, résumé, and other information you submit. We use this information to review your application and contact you about employment opportunities. Applications and résumés are stored with our hosting providers and are accessible only to authorized personnel. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

Vendor and Back Office Information

Certain portions of our website are used internally by authorized Mercantile & Co. personnel for business and vendor administration.

When you submit a vendor application, we also collect the business and merchandise details, space preferences, photographs, and other information you choose to submit. We use these to review your application and communicate about it. Submitting an application does not automatically enroll you in newsletters or promotional text messages.

Authorized team members may enter or manage information related to our vendors and their agreements with Mercantile & Co., including contact information and lease-related or account information necessary to administer the vendor relationship.

Information maintained through our internal back office is used only for legitimate business purposes, including administering vendor agreements, managing vendor accounts, communicating with vendors, and operating Mercantile & Co.

Access to this information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who require access in order to perform their responsibilities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade vendor information.
